RV Inspections & Fluid Analysis

Tony is a Certified RV Inspector (NRVIA) with Advanced Inspector Training from the National RV Training Academy. Comprehensive 5+ hour inspections, same-day reports.

Don't Buy an RV Blind

A pre-purchase RV inspection is the single most valuable thing you can do before signing a purchase agreement. Blue Line RV Service will inspect the RV at the seller's location and deliver a comprehensive, photo-documented report the same day.

All inspections follow NRVIA standards and cover 200+ inspection points across all systems. Inspections start at 9am and take a minimum of 5 hours. Blue Line does not currently inspect RVs older than 2004.

Inspection Preparation Checklist

To ensure a complete and efficient inspection, please have the following ready before Tony arrives.

Timing & Access

All inspections start at 9am and last a minimum of 5 hours

Inspections cannot take place while repairs are ongoing, the RV is being detailed, or during scheduled walk-throughs

Enough space to fully extend and retract all slide-out rooms and awnings, and to safely maneuver a ladder around the RV

Systems & Fuel

RV refrigerator should be turned on at least 12 hours before the inspection

Propane tanks should be at least half full

RV fuel tank should be at least half full for generator testing

Hookups

Shore power supply of 50A or 30A required (standard 110V house power is not suitable)

If city water is unavailable, freshwater tank must be full

Dewinterization should be completed before the inspection

Wastewater/sewer hookups preferred but not mandatory

Keys & Personal Items

Remove personal items from all areas — exterior storage bays and interior cabinets and closets

Remove bed linens and furniture covers

Keys for all areas must be accessible — entrance doors, cargo bays, fuel doors, ignition (if applicable)

Wheel covers should be removed

End of Warranty Inspection

Your RV warranty is one of the most valuable protections you have — but only if you use it before it expires. Blue Line RV Service performs end-of-warranty inspections that give you a detailed, documented report to present directly to your dealer.

Dealers are required to address warranty issues before the coverage ends. Without an inspection, those issues go undetected and become your expense. Schedule your end-of-warranty inspection at least 60 days before expiration to allow time for dealer follow-up.

Plumbing — fresh, grey, and black systems
All appliances and HVAC systems
Safety systems — LP detectors, CO, smoke
Emergency exits and windows
Generator and chassis systems

Tip: Schedule at least 60 days before your warranty expires. This gives your dealer time to order parts and complete repairs before coverage ends.

From Setup to Tear Down — We Can Help

When purchasing a new RV, the orientation provided by the dealer is often brief with limited hands-on time. Many new owners incorrectly assume RV systems work the same as a traditional home — they don't. Blue Line RV Service offers personalized walk-throughs so you actually understand your rig.

Post-Delivery Walk-Through

We'll walk through every system in your new RV — electrical, plumbing, propane, slides, and more — until you're confident operating it yourself.

First Campground Trip

Tony can meet you at a local campground on your first trip to make sure setup, hookups, and teardown all go smoothly.

Did You Know?

Your RV has three distinct electrical systems and two separate water systems. Every trip subjects it to vibration and stress that a house never experiences.

New Owner Special

Ask about our post-delivery walk-through service — personalized attention to help you understand every system in your RV.
